Materials: New Zealand wool and Nepalese buffalo leather.
Care: Spot-clean the surface by hand with a damp cloth and allow them to air-dry in indirect light. Soaking the slippers, placing them in a washing machine or heated drying can cause the wool to shrink.
Please note: As with all handmade items using natural materials, each pair of booties can come with subtle variations.

I received my slippers today, as an early Valentine’s Day present from my husband. They are so comfortable! I would say they run pretty true to size. They are such a vibrant red and I’m glad I chose them over the other colors. I love how the owner sent a handwritten thank you on the invoice. It’s definitely a nice touch, in our digital age. I’m so glad to be supporting a small business that helps others.

The size was true (for me). I'm a women's size 11 with a narrow, "thin", foot and wasn't sure if I needed to go up a half or full size to be sure they weren't too snug. I don't wear socks but from some of the comments on the sizing chart, I had to wonder whether I should order "up" a half or full size. Turns out they're *perfect*; my toes have room, nothing feels too tight or too loose. I also love the way the side slits let me slip them on and off with ease. As the weather moves to winter here, it is such a pleasure to get out of bed in the chill of the morning and immediately slip my feet into these. The colour turned out to be the cherry red I was hoping for (so many online reds turn out to be more on the 'tomato' red side when I finally see the product in hand). It's a bit of a sidenote but when I'm wearing them on zoom calls, I find myself every once in a while drawn to looking at them and feeling how happy they make my feet lol!!! I really enjoy the texture of the felted wool on my bare feet, and that my feet never feel too hot. I've had them over a month now and the 'happy' isn't wearing off :-)). Finally, it's also very meaningful to me that the company supports fair trade for the artisans and contributes to the global effort to lift every human out of poverty.
