Handmade by artisans in Nepal using traditional crafting techniques, Baabushka's superbly cozy felt booties are made with sheep’s wool, water, and organic soap. The result is soft yet durable footwear that provides wonderful warmth and comfort. The bootie conforms to the contours of your foot and comes up past your ankle, ensuring a comfortable fit that doesn’t slip off.
Felted wool naturally insulates, yet allows your skin to breathe, which means you can enjoy wearing your Baabushka booties year-round.

Materials: Baabushka slippers are made with 100% all-natural wool sourced from New Zealand and genuine buffalo leather from Nepal.
Care: Spot-clean the surface by hand with a damp cloth and allow them to air-dry in indirect light. Soaking the slippers, placing them in a washing machine or heated drying can cause the wool to shrink.
Please note: as with all handmade items using natural materials, each pair of booties can come with subtle variations.

Excellent. I have purchased from Baabushka before, but the previous item was made with much thinner wool felt and the sole quickly separated from the actual bootie. This one is much sturdier. I am glad I gave Baabushka another try.

I bought these at a discount from a website because they looked adorable and comfortable. A year later there is not a day that I haven’t worn them. Summer-winter-indoor-outdoor. I’ve spilled paint on them and spot cleaned them, I’ve walked in snow and wet ground to get the mail in them, I’ve even worn them to bed accidentally. They are still adorable. They are still intact except for the stitching I had to reinforce because of the wear and tear I’ve put upon them. They never smell, they clean up nicely, and I wish I could have a pair in every color. But I can’t afford that luxury, sadly. They are expensive luxuries, for me, but I choose to support this company because they are a small business and their products are finely made by hand. Because they send cute hand-written notes on my parcels to thank me. Did I mention how comfortable they are? After 5 recent foot surgeries the answer is yes.
